Information about the faculty The Faculty of Correspondence and Distance learning is an educational unit of the KGAU, provides training in the following areas: 

  • “Jurisprudence” (profiles: “Civil law”, “Prosecutorial activity”, “Judicial activity”);
  • “Economics” (profile: “Taxes and taxation”)
  • “State and municipal administration” (profile: “Legal Management”)

Learning conditions:

  • on the basis of secondary education – 5 years;
  • on the basis of secondary vocational education – 4 years; 
  • on the basis of higher education – 3 years.

Distance learning technologies are educational technologies implemented mainly using the means of informatization and telecommunications with indirect or not entirely indirect interaction between the student and the teaching staff (Article 1 of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Education”).

A distinctive feature of using DOT is providing students with the opportunity to independently acquire the necessary knowledge using advanced information resources provided by modern information technologies. The correspondence form of education using distance learning technologies is training based on Internet technologies used in the educational process to ensure the availability of an educational portal. The educational portal is intended for a wide range of users to access information resources and educational services, contains information on various academic disciplines, presented in the form of texts, textbooks and other types of digital educational resources that can be used for distance learning. It should be noted that this form of training can be conducted individually at the student’s place of residence. The exception is classes or types of current, intermediate and final certification, which require the student’s personal presence in accordance with the OOP. The provision of educational and methodological assistance to students is carried out through organizational meetings at least 2 times a year, before the start of each semester, individual consultations provided remotely using information and telecommunication technologies by curators of groups or responsible faculty staff. Students or students of the faculty must attend training sessions, pass current control and final certification through direct interaction with the teacher in accordance with the schedule of classes and examination sessions. The state final attestation is carried out within the time limits set by the schedule of the educational process, with the personal appearance of students at the place of the state final attestation.
