Congratulations from the Rector of KSLA
Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Academy, looking back at the past, one cannot but say about what our university has become today. From one faculty, as it appeared in 2003, a multi-faculty, multidisciplinary specialized university with an extensive structure and a close-knit team of employees and students has grown. Over the years, the Academy has passed a glorious, in many ways innovative way, becoming one of the authoritative and significant universities in Kyrgyzstan. It has prepared thousands of lawyers in various fields, high-level professionals.
KSUA is today - it is a modern multilevel system of continuous training of specialists with higher legal education. This well-established system, starting from the lyceum (pre-university training), continues through the university and organically goes back to postgraduate education. After all, a lawyer, if he really is such, must learn and improve his skills all his life, be truly competitive!
More than 8000 students study at the academy annually. Students are taught in modern educational buildings equipped with equipment for conducting classes, which has access from each classroom to the Internet via a wireless network. Today, the Academy has an Educational Portal, an Information and Educational System, a virtual private network has been created that unites all structural divisions, including regional, KSLA, the electronic library has more than 5 thousand information resources. Today we can proudly talk about our material and technical base - these are not only well-equipped auditoriums, but also the Educational and Innovative Forensic Complex named by G. Gross, which includes five forensic laboratories: research of cold and throwing weapons, ballistic research, forensic handwriting studies and technical and forensic research of documents, fingerprint research, traceological research; training courtroom; The legal clinic has been operating since 2006 and is a kind of practical "testing ground" for developing students skills to build an effective model of providing legal assistance to the population.
Today all over the world there is a comprehention of what modern education should be like, how it should differ from the education of the past. The 21st century is an era of an increasing need for highly qualified, competitive personnel, a continuous process of updating and improving knowledge. The introduction of credit, modular rating, information technologies in the educational process, a powerful material and technical base, a trained teaching staff allow our students to receive the necessary fundamental and most modern knowledge, they have the opportunity to master practical skills, enrich themselves creatively as individuals.
Truly deserved pride of our university is its staff. The educational process is provided by the teaching staff who has professional experience, experience in teaching and relevant qualifications. The main requirement for teachers is continuous professional development in the field of pedagogy at the School of Pedagogical Excellence of the KSLA and the conduct of practical activities.
